    Well, I find this discussion quite ineentstirg, and I have
to say, that my parties were all very similar to how
Thadeous has described them. All of my PCs usually get
together and discuss their character building in the first
session too. Usually takes about 7 hours for everyone to
iron out who is in what role, and which roles to double up
on. Although, most of my friends are very heavy in the
power gamer department, and do not appear to have much in
the imagination department, so sometimes as a DM I have to
delegate backgrounds.
