it depends on your connection speed. we tested many screen sizes and resolutions( the faster you connect the bigger the picture because your speed can handle it). each stream speed is optimized for your connection speed. given that even people connecting at 22 kb/s on a dial-up can get great clear picture quality at a smaller size, if we would have went with a larger screen size you would get major lag and a fuzzy picture. we based the screen size on the need to maintain a crystal clear picture. even though this software is the best right now in the world for streaming video on demand...we are still limited by the constraints of where technology is at right now. a full screen picture at DVD quality is deffinately posssible....but unless you have a 2.5 ghz processor, 512 mb of ram, and are on a dedicated T-3 connection you wouldnt be able to get it. even though a few people may have that level of technology....the average user doesnt. our system is watchable at excelent quality by someone with a 200 mhz processor, 64 mb of system ram, connecting at a minimum of 22 kb/s...that is close to everybody on the net. |
