	"show up" means "be in the area and want to shoot." of course i call people - do you think i'm stupid? for the most part, we're not talking about stable people who have a home and a job - they're here, they vanish. they come back, they leave. and just fyi, in the amount of time i've spent sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting in vain for them to show up AFTER they commit to a shoot, i could easily have finished law AND medical school.
